Hi Sally, update on parents’ reaction: Well what can I say!! They absolutely loved it (and that was before the wine). I got them round just before it was dark and had candles everywhere NOT ON THE GRASS. They couldn’t believe it. My Dad said ‘so you filled the pond with a bike’ (he hasn’t forgotten what I said).
